History of the Airsprung Brand
The company was founded back in 1871 by Hedley Chapman in Wiltshire and began making palliases which were stuffed with straw and designs to sleep on. They were a primitive kind of mattress which were to form the beginnings of a fantastic company. By the 1930s Chapman’s as the company was then called were making hundreds of beds each year and selling to an eager public. By 1950 the name had been changed to Airsprung, but none of the quality that was inherent in the first designs was lost.
Today Airsprung employs more than 600 people across the UK and are selling many beds on a daily basis.
Airsprung Products
Like any bed producing company Airsprung have a range of different beds and mattresses to choose from. The Springmaster Collection beds all use the very latest in cutting edge spring technology which creates a firm yet comfortable mattress.
